OpenLS

The OpenGIS Location Services (OpenLS) Specifications detail the core services and abstract data types (ADT) that comprise the GeoMobility Server. This server is an open location services platform for wireless Web services defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc.

The ArcWeb Services OpenLS API supports OpenLS version 1.1 functionality including geocoding, mapping, routing, finding points of interest, and finding the locations of wireless devices.
